Welcome to St Albans School
Grow - Nurture - Thrive
Rere mai ai te kāhui manu ki te māpuna wai, he momo rere tō tēnā tō tēnā , he kōrero, he kāinga, he kura
The flock of birds fly to the water source. Each of them fly differently. They connect in a place of learning, nurture and growth.

Can you be a sponsor?=
17 Mar, 2023 – 02:30am
Kia ora whānau, do you own a business or are you in a position to sponsor an Epro8 kit? We currently have 4 Epro8 kits and electronic simulators and we need two more of each!
What is Epro8?
The EPro8 Challenge is an inter-school science and engineering competition. Every year over 25,000 students from throughout New Zealand take part.
Students participate in a series of events: firstly within their school and then inter-school. These events are designed to promote science, engineering and problem-solving.
At St Alban’s, all our Year 5/6 children work with the kits in their hubs to further develop their STEM skills. We then run an interschool competition and 3 teams are selected to participate in the interschool competition.
For a whole class to be able to participate in these activities we need 6 kits per class. The 4 kits we currently have are used extensively, it would be great to have two more.
1 Epro8 kit costs $1790 incl gst
1 Epro8 electronic simulator kit = $890 incl gst.
If you are able to sponsor a kit, or contribute to the purchase of a kit, or know someone who may like to sponsor a kit, please email Jo, we would love to hear from you.
